Nuestro Chef

With 20 years of experience in the culinary field, our chef Cristofher Mendoza Gamez leads the kitchen at Hacienda Santo Cristo, utilizing ingredients from the Atlixco region.
He has worked as a pastry chef, culinary consultant, and corporate chef for boutique hotels.

For three months, he worked as a guest chef at Pujol Restaurant in Polanco, Mexico, with Chef Enrique Olvera. During his trip to Spain, he spent six months as a chef at Martin Berasategui Restaurant in Alicante. Upon returning to his home country, he was part of the tasting menu at Villa Ferre, Saltillo, Coahuila, with Chef Juan Ramón Cárdenas, and later resumed positions as Executive Chef at several Puebla restaurants.


He holds several diplomas in pastry making and molecular cuisine, and his vast experience has earned him several awards, including first place for the Puebla Salmon Trout.
