With 20 years of experience in the gastronomy, our chef Cristofher Mendoza Gamez leads the kitchen of
Hacienda Santo Cristo rescuing ingredients from the Atlixco region.
He has worked as a pastry chef, gastronomic consultant and corporate chef for boutique hotels
For three months he participated as a guest chef at the Pujol de Polanco restaurant in Mexico with Chef
Enrique Olvera. On his journey through Spain he spent six months as a cook at the Martin Berasategui
restaurant in Alicante. Upon returning to his native country, he was part of the tasting menu at Villa
Ferre Saltillo Coahuila with Chef Juan Ramón Cárdenas and later resumed positions as Executive Chef
in some restaurants in Puebla.
He has several diplomas in confectionery and molecular cuisine, and due to his vast experience, he has
received some recognitions, including obtaining first place in Trout Asalmonda Puebla.
